The Nebraska Coalition enhances safety and justice through promoting prevention efforts, public policy advocacy, training, and capacity building support to those serving survivors.


HOW WE USE YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS:

  • $1 prints a safety-planning guide for a survivor.
  • $22 a week covers the average amount of financial assistant a survivor receives through the Infusion Fund. ($1,149.43)
  • $75 prints 1000 informative brochures for survivors.
  • $100 provides one night of emergency shelter for a survivor through the Infusion Fund.
  • $122 a month sends a director to advocate for survivors at the federal level in Washington, D.C.
  • $167 a month sends a prevention specialist to the National Sexual Assault Conference to bring innovative resources back to Nebraska. ($2,000)
  • $1,280 provides in-person training for a partner organization to enhance survivor services.
  • $2,000 sends a survivor support advocate to NNEDV’s Economic Justice Summit to bring best practices back to Nebraska.

At the Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, we envision a future where all Nebraskans are safe and thriving. Through prevention, advocacy, and survivor support, we work to stop violence before it starts and ensure those affected have the resources they need to heal. However, we cannot do it alone. Your support makes it possible.
In 2025, donors like you helped us:
•Train 320 advocates and issue 424 course certificates to improve survivor services. •Advocate for effective public policy solutions by providing testimony or written comments on 16 legislative bills. •Manage over 192 legal cases and train court personnel to support survivors. •Fund direct legal services for 90 cases involving domestic violence through the Nebraska Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyer Project. •Distribute 90,000 menstrual hygiene products and 2,000 sexual health products to survivors statewide. •Host a statewide conference where 189 professionals, including advocates, prevention staff, educators, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals deepened their knowledge and skills on centering survivors, effective prevention strategies, communicating about tough topics, and healing-centered culturally responsive approaches. •Lead statewide community groups on human trafficking, violence prevention, Domestic Violence Intervention Program •Support four Project Connect events, serving 2,752 low-income Nebraskans.
